I cannot tell why - Pee Wee irritates me.
Am I too old?
Was I too young when he started his career and I saw him first? I don't get him? (I thought the only thing I do not get is English 'comedy' like the Red Dwarf and the sort...)The guy steps somewhere on one of my imaginary toothaches or something. Gives me a root canal sensation (I saw people cringing at those words)Am I put off by his masturbation in public incident? I usually do not care about that kind of gossip.

I don't know why.
I can certainly understand how Pee Wee would be like fingernails on a chalkboard to some people. I grew up watching Monty Python and Mel Brooks movies. I remember seeing "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" with my father and he didn't laugh once. I was in my early 20's when Pee Wee was in his heyday. These days it's rare when a current comedy can make me laugh out loud.
